The <a href=\"http:\/\/troop486.net\/purpose-of-scouting\/\">Purpose of Scouting<\/a> will shed some light on\u00a0what, and why, we\u00a0do what we\u00a0do.<\/p>\n<h2>Where We Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Grace Episcopal Church<br \/>\n555 E. Outings are typically scheduled for leaving on Friday evening and returning on Sunday afternoon. Outings\u00a0are usually backpacking or camping (drive-in) adventures that involve a wide range of activities such as rock-climbing and rappelling, bouldering, fishing, mountain biking and hiking. Day hikes are taken in the local mountains and are typically scheduled for leaving on Saturday morning and returning Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<h2>Summer Camp<\/h2>\n<p>Troop 486\u00a0attends a week-long summer camp each year.<\/p>\n<h2>High Adventure<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to the adventures each month, Troop 486\u00a0plans a High Adventure trip every year during\u00a0summer.
