Since the Troop was chartered we have had 60 Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle. Our Eagle projects have helped local communities, schools, churches, and charities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-layout-grid-column wp-block-jetpack-layout-grid__padding-none\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scouting Events<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the year our scouts have participated in white-water rafting down the Colorado River, rock-climbing and rappelling in Joshua Tree National Park, week-long camps in Kings Canyon and mountain biking in Moab, Utah. Every year we try to squeeze in backpacking, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, rock-climbing, wilderness survival camping, outdoor cooking competitions, rifle and shotgun shooting events, and orienteering.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-layout-grid-column wp-block-jetpack-layout-grid__padding-none\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Merit Badges<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Merit badges are awards earned by youth members of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), based on activities within an area of study by completing a list of periodically updated requirements.
